Roadme estimates the cost of driving a route in Norway: fuel, tolls and ferries. It is free for personal use and provided as it is, with no warranty.
Fares and toll rates come from official sources and are shown with the confidence we have in them, but the price you pay is the one the operator charges at the barrier or the quay. Fuel is an estimate by definition: it depends on your car, your driving and the pump.
Timetables, closures and charging stations change. We show what the source published when we last read it, and say where each figure came from.
The route is a suggestion. Road signs, closures and conditions in front of you always win, and following the app is never a reason to do otherwise. The in-app navigator is in beta.
Do not use Roadme where being wrong would be dangerous, and do not operate the phone while driving.
Roadme is free for private individuals planning their own driving, and that is not going to change.
Business use is a different thing: a haulier, a rental fleet, a tour operator or anyone pricing routes as part of their work puts a load on this service that a traveller never does. If that is you and you want to use Roadme regularly, write to hi@roadme.no and we will set it up for you properly — with the capacity you need and no daily ceiling in the way.
There is a free daily allowance so that one caller cannot exhaust the service for everyone. Do not scrape it, resell the data, or pass the licensed source data on as your own — the licences behind it do not allow that, and neither do we.
We may slow down or block use that is automated, abusive, or commercial without an arrangement. That is about protecting the service for everybody else, not about charging people: the way to use Roadme commercially is to talk to us, not to be quiet about it.
